    Forest governance Training Manual.fw

Governance remains one of the critical challenges for sustainable forest management in Uganda. Despite several attempts by Government to sustainably manage the forests, the forest cover has reduced from 24% in 1990 to 9% in 2015. This decline in forest cover is largely attributed to poor governance of the forestry sector. This Forest Governance Training Manual is ACODE’s contribution towards enhancing forest governance in Uganda.
